Who I worked with
BCU Bank is a customer-owned financial institution based in Australia. It operates as a credit union, which means it is owned by its members and exists to provide banking and financial services to its members, rather than to generate profits for shareholders.
The problem
The project's goals were to enhance online conversions, navigation, alignment with business goals, and brand presence, while tailoring content to diverse market segments. A key focus was on form consolidation, product page enhancement, and brand reinforcement for greater appeal to community-focused clients.

Discovery Phase
The proposed solution for BCU Bank involves optimizing their website by aligning it with the business vision, enhancing user-friendliness, and tailoring content to diverse target market segments to improve online conversions and brand presence.
Stakeholder workshops were conducted to gain insights into the target market and personas, with reference to Google Analytics data.
OUTCOMES
Conversion
The project outcomes for the audit and implementation included a 20% increase in average conversion goals across the BCU Bank website.

AUDIT RECOMMENDATIONS
Audit recommends streamlining user experience with best practice principles such as: consistent design elements, drop-down lists, in-line validation, and optimised call-to-action buttons to boost BCU website conversions.
